12/06/2016 | New York Nursing Center Finds Relief after Superstorm Sandy

HIPOWER SYSTEMS replaces a flood-damaged generator to provide reliable power continuity to vulnerable residents in New York.

After Superstorm Sandy left millions without power, many businesses and institutions were faced, not only with restoring electricity, but also with replacing their standby generators. One of those was the Saints Joachim & Anne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, which sought to replace a flooded Mitsubishi unit that had served its role as a backup generator since 1989. Engineers reached out to ENERG-Rudox, with which the Center had enjoyed a 27-year working relationship, asking for a generator that was very similar to the previous unit in terms of quality, functionality and reliability.

The ENERG-Rudox salesman recommended a HIPOWER SYSTEMS HFW350 standby unit, which ENERG-Rudox would service and maintain. Although the Center is grateful not to have needed to use the unit in an emergency yet, engineers for the facility have run the unit every week for an hour with no incidents. The ENERG-Rudox dealer is happy to have another satisfied HIPOWER SYSTEMS customer.
