HIPOWER SYSTEMS SPARK-IGNITED STANDBY GENERATORS are an efficient, reliable and versatile source of electrical power that have been designed to operate in the most extreme working conditions. They are built combining an innovative design and the use of high quality materials that provide the user with the most dependable power that can be relied on for non-stop power with easy to operate controls. The HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL SPARK-IGNITED  STANDBY PRODUCT LINE is powered by a radiator-cooled, industrial PSI Spark-Ignited engine that meets current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)  exhaust emission regulations, and driving a single bearing, four-pole, three-phase alternator, with IP23 protection. The Emergency Power kW rating is given with a 125 degree °C alternator winding temperature rise.

POWERFUL FEATURES | TOP BRAND COMPONENTS

    RELIABLE ENGINE

HIPOWER SYSTEMS uses Power Solutions International (PSI) as the preferred partner for the prime mover on the HNI series. The HNI-80 and HNI-100 are using the 5.7L turbocharged and 5.7L turbocharged intercooled engines while the HNI-125 and HNI-200 are using the 8.8L turbocharged and 8.8L turbocharged intercooled engines. All engines, used in the new HNI models, are designed for use at 1800 RPM in 60HZ emergency standby applications.  EPA-certified for emergency standby applications.2

The engines are coupled to four-pole Stamford Alternators with AS440 voltage regulators to provide excellent transient voltage response. However, if greater transient voltage response is required then the HNI series can be optioned with a permanent magnet generator and MX341 or MX321 voltage regulator.

    CONTROLLERS
Genset functions are controlled through a Deepsea DSE 7410 MKII controller. The controller is an auto start control module suitable for a wide variety of single genset applications. The DSE7410 MKII has built in ethernet communication providing advanced remote monitoring as well as being able to be integrated into a building management system via MODBUS.

    FUEL SYSTEM FLEXIBILITY

The HNI have the flexibility and capability, when appropriately optioned, to be able to run in different fuel configurations which are Liquid Propane, Liquid Propane Vapor, and Dual Fuel in addition to natural gas.

“With Dual Fuel operation, meaning the genset's primary fuel source is natural gas and secondary fuel source is LP or LPV, this gives the customer the ability of using their existing natural gas supply to their building while also providing the security of having onsite fuel storage with liquid propane in the case of a disaster and the natural gas supply to the building has been shut-off”. EJ LeBlanc, Sales Engineer

HIPOWER SYSTEMS' award-winning gas generator line leads the field in reliability, performance and durability. Our wide assortment of generator and enclosure features and options enables these models to meet every possible application and need.

The HNI series is designed to be used in the stationary and specifying markets with options ranging from fuel types, enclosures, enclosure accessories, I/O expansions, and breaker types, along many other options creating an almost unlimited number of combinations to be able to meet almost any engineering specification.

    Fast and Easy Servicing.

The HNI series were also designed for fast and easy servicing. The gensets has four access doors and easy access to the catalytic converter allowing the service technicians access to standard service points as well as oil and coolant drains. In addition, the enclosures are fabricated and assembled at HIPOWER’s Olathe, KS facility, using 11-gauge steel power coated with a finish that exceeds a 1400-hr salt spray test to ensure the requirements of the stationary market are met or surpassed.

WE STAND BEHIND OUR SPARK-IGNITED SERIES.

We stand behind our HNI PRODUCT LINE with a strong 2 Years or 2,000 hours (whichever occurs first) parts & labor limited warranty. First year covers parts & labor, 2nd year covers parts only.
