Olathe, Kansas – February 16th, 2024 – HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a division of Himoinsa, S.L., and a proud member of the YANMAR Co. Ltd. Group of companies, has launched three new models in the MOBILE POWER - TIER 4 FINAL Product line, featuring FPT engines. The new models released are HRFW-225, HRFW-325, and HRFW-400. These models range from 225-400 kVA for rental and prime power applications with the flexibility to be used in mobile standby applications as well.
The HIPOWER MOBILE POWER TIER 4 FINAL Product Line is specifically designed for use with equipment rental companies, emergency response, or any other application with the need for prime power or portable standby requirements.
The incorporation of FPT engines not only elevates performance but also contributes to lower operational costs. The engines boast maintenance-free after-treatment systems, minimizing the need for unplanned downtime and ensuring a seamless and reliable power supply.
" This collaboration with FPT represents a significant milestone for HIPOWER SYSTEMS, as we continue to prioritize innovation and excellence in the mobile power industry. We are confident that the integration of FPT engines will enhance the overall reliability and cost-effectiveness of our T4F Mobile Power Series, providing our customers with a cutting-edge solution for their power generation needs" – Said EJ LeBlanc, Director of Engineering at HIPOWER SYSTEMS.
FPT Engines ensure low operational costs while avoiding unplanned downtime.
The HRFW-225 is using NEF67 while the HRFW-325 and HRFW-400 are using the Cursor 9 and Cursor 13 engines. All engines used in the new range are Tier 4 Final certified and are designed for use at 1800 RPM in 60HZ prime power applications
Each genset has a standard 3-position voltage selector switch allowing for operation in 480, 208, and 240 1PH VAC operation. The controllers will automatically trim voltage output and modify controller settings based on the position of the voltage selector switch simplifying the voltage selection process. Additionally, we offer a 4-position switch that can be optioned to allow for 480, 208, 240 3PH delta, or 240 1PH VAC operation.
Genset functions are controlled through a ComAp IG500 controller.
Each genset is parallel capable with other HIPOWER Mobile Power T4F gensets with an InteliGen controller directly from the factory without the need for additional options. .
The engines are coupled to Stamford alternators with permanent magnet generators and include standard options such as camlocks, mechanical lugs, GFCI duplex receptacles, 50A receptacles, and block heaters. HIPOWER offers numerous options that can be selected to allow for a robust product in almost any environment.
The HRFW Series continues the design methodology of the existing T4F product line, allowing for fast and easy servicing. The individual gensets have four removable access doors and a quick-access hatch for the after-treatment system allowing the service technicians access to standard service points as well as oil and coolant drains extending to the frame.
